Types of Location Data Collected:

• Movement speed and direction during active services

When Location is Collected:

• Real-time location tracking: When a service provider marks themselves as "Out for Service" or "Reached at Location" during an active booking
• Attendance verification: GPS coordinates captured during punch-in/punch-out for salary-based providers
• On-demand location: When providers manually share their location with customers

Background Location Access:

The SerQfix Partner app collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use to:

• Share real-time provider location with customers during active service bookings
• Enable customers to track provider arrival while providers use other apps or have their screen off
• Maintain continuous location updates during travel to service locations

Location tracking automatically stops when the service is marked as completed.

How Location Data is Used:

• Shared with customers in real-time during active bookings via Firebase Realtime Database
• Stored temporarily for service completion verification
• Used for attendance verification and work location tracking
• Analyzed for service quality and route optimization

Location Data Retention:

• Real-time location data is stored only during active bookings and deleted upon service completion
• Attendance location records are retained as per employment compliance requirements
• Historical location logs may be retained for dispute resolution (up to 90 days)

Third-Party Location Sharing:

• Location data is shared with customers who have active bookings with the provider
• Location data is transmitted via Firebase Realtime Database (Google Cloud)
• Location data is NOT sold to advertisers or third parties

User Control:

• Service providers must grant location permissions to use real-time tracking features
• Location sharing can be stopped by completing or canceling the active service
• Background location permission can be revoked in device settings (may limit app functionality)
